Our very colorful room is the last stop before going on to elementary school. The classroom is designed to prepare the children for this very big and possibly daunting step. Our goal in this classroom is to create a friendly, open, and nurturing learning environment.
Children will learn to develop and practice many social, physical, and intellectual skills throughout the school year with the guidance of teachers, parents, and most importantly each other. Emphasis will be placed on helping the child to become more independent and to develop self-help skills. In addition, children will be interacting in a collaborative learning environment in which each child can feel safe to express their ideas and participate actively in their learning.
